Welcome to the Church Weekend!
We are so happy to be able to invite you all to the Odense Vineyards Church Weekend on October 11th-13th 2024! We are really looking forward to it, and we hope that you will all reserve the dates so that we can gather as many people as possible for a weekend filled with lots of fellowship and fun and God’s presence.
The weekend will be held at ACTS Academy, Lykkegårdsvej 100 in Kolding (same place as the Summer Camp), where there is plenty of space for both young and old. The place offers good sleeping facilities, space for lots of different activities, and a perfect setting for many good gatherings! Below you can read about which speakers are coming and what the program will be. You can also read all the practical information and buy a ticket. P.S. Remember to invite your friends!
The Church Weekend is held in collaboration with Odense Vineyard Børne- og Ungdomsforening.
Guest speakers: Chuck and Taryn
At the Church Weekend, we get a visit from Chuck and Taryn Freeland, who are pastors at Catalyst Vineyard in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Catalyst Vineyard is a large and exciting church that meets in 9 different locations every Sunday.
We are very much looking forward to what Chuck and Taryn have to share with us! They will speak in English, but we translate into Danish via headsets.
The venue: ACTS Academy
We will meet in super beautiful surroundings at the ACTS Academy in Kolding, which we also know from our Danish Summer Camp.
At ACTS, it is possible to be accommodated in both 2- and 3-person rooms as well as in a dormitory.
Address:
Lykkegårdsvej 100, Kolding

Practical information
At ACTS, there is both a nice meeting room and a large canteen, which we have access to during the weekend. We take turns helping with meals and other practical tasks.
We have access to a total of 20 rooms and 2 dormitories, which you can book for overnight stays at the college. Families with small children have priority for rooms in the main house, while everyone can book rooms in the East Wing. It is also possible to spend the night at home and just pay for food and participation.
The college has a fantastic outdoor area, so make sure you bring sports clothes or the like if you want to get some exercise. It may be that during the weekend we will have to be outside for a bit – so please also bring some clothes that will not be damaged by a bit of autumn weather.
Getting there
The Bible school is located in Kolding. It takes approx. 55 minutes to drive from Odense by car.
You can also take the train directly to Kolding station, from where there are buses to the school.
The address is: Lykkegårdsvej 100, 6000 Kolding.
